Sustainability has been the latest chatter across all businesses, especially the restaurant industry. The food industry is the culprit of the overuse of plastics, wasting food, and many other aspects that make our normal evening out much more wasteful than we can imagine.  Many restaurants are making changes in the hopes of becoming more environmentally friendly, but some restaurants’ efforts beat out the competition by miles. L’Arpege, France
Chef Alain Passard is an award winner and leader in sustainability and plant-based cooking in the food industry. This restaurant came to light in 1986, and to raise a flag for creativity, Alain shifted towards plant and vegetable-based cooking.
