Comic books were a big part of our childhood. These books not only entertain us but also make us believe in the stories they tell. Comics take us to the fantasy world. In addition, during our childhood, famous comic book characters from DC and Marvel appeared in our dreams. 

Most children aspire to be Iron Man or Captain America at some point in time. On the other hand, mythology-based comic books teach children about history, mythology, and its many facets. Let’s go over some of the best mythology comic books that will both entertain and educate you.

American Born Chinese 
Gene Luen Yang’s Chinese-American comics are adapted from the legendary folktales of Monkey King or Sun Wukong. Thus comics deal with Jin Wang’s struggle to fit in at his new school after moving from San Francisco to Chinatown.

God is dead
Avatar Press released Mike Costa and Jonathan Hickman’s comic book “God is Dead.” This cartoon depicts ancient gods and goddesses from various mythology arriving on Earth to claim their rightful place. Its plot revolves around a man named Zeus (the ancient Greek god of thunder) who comes to Vatican City in 2015 and declares the Earth to be his realm.
